KSO-6 (10) kV chambers with aerial insulation, gas-insulated disconnector and vacuum circuit breaker

KSO chambers forms the system of modular chambers with aerial insulation of cable and busbar cells, gas-insulated load-break switches, grounding switches with aerial insulation, vacuum circuit breakers, measuring voltage and current transformers, control, protective and measuring devices. The different combinations of devices correspond to different versions.

The chambers are designed for switchgears at the rated voltage 6 or 10 kV of the three-phase alternating current with the frequency of 50 or 60 Hz of systems with the insulated neutral or grounded through the arcing ground suppressor or resistor.

The chambers can be used as bushing devices in complete transformer substations 6(10)/0.4 kV.

Due to reduced overall dimensions they can be installed in any compact, mobile or underground switchgears and substations. Modular design makes KSO chambers the ideal solution for updating and extension of the existent substations and switchgears.

1.3 Standards compliance

KSO-6 (10) chambers meets the requirements of:

-GOST 12.007.0-75, GOST 12.007.4-75, GOST 1516.3-96, that is proved by conformance certificate № РОСС.RU.АИ18.В08563;

-technical conditions ТU 3414-008-00109458-2005

- Regulations of electric units arrangement (PUE)

Rated dimensions of climatic parameters – according to GOST 15150, GOST 15543.1:

ambient air temperature – from 0 0C till +40 0C for U3, UHL3;

ambient air temperature – from 0 0C till +35 0C for UHL4;

ambient air temperature – from 0 0C till +45 0C for T3;

altitude level above sea max – 1000 m (over 1000 m – special execution);

the environment is not explosive, without current-conducting dust, aggressive evaporation and gases, that can be harmful for metal and insulation.

relative humidity – not more than 80% at +20 0C.

Note. If the mounting of KSO chambers in the place with ambient air temperature under 0 0C is necessary, then installation of heating elements (thermostats) must be provided to ensure the normal temperature conditions of the equipment operation. Mechanical strength of KSO chambers in the sense of influence of mechanic environmental factors must be correspond to M6 group of service conditions according to GOST 17516.1. Normally KSO chambers are of continuous running duty. Insulation resistance and electric strength of main and auxiliary circuits meet the following requirements:
