PKU stations of commercial accounting

PKU  stations are  designed for organization of commercial or technical accounting of  electric energy in aerial networks (6 or 10 kV, 50 Hz) with insulated neutral or neutral, grounded through arc-controlling reactor.

There are two climatic executions of PKU stations: U, UHL, layout category 1 according to GOST 15150, GOST 15543.1

Design features

Structurally PKU station consists of 2 parts: high-voltage block and accounting block. High-voltage block is composed of bushing insulators, current transformers, voltage transformers and excess-voltage suppressor if necessary. Accounting block includes measuring devices, active and reactive power meters, ampere meter if necessary and heating system for UHL1-execution. High-voltage and accounting blocks are electrically connected to each other with cable or wire harness, allocated in metal demountable tray or metal hose.

High-voltage block is usually installed on power transmission pole (6 or 10 kV) or on posts. The doors of block are equipped with the special drop temperature-resistant gland that provides IP-54 protection degree.

Accounting block is supplied with the door of ruggedized design and built-in or check-locks to prevent illegal access to the inside of cabinet. There are mounting brackets on the back of the block to fasten the cabinet to the power transmission poles. The bodies of both blocks have a point for grounding connection.

High-voltage block and accounting block are of rigid frame construction, made of sheet metal. Doors and body panels are coated with polymeric powder paint. The details of facility are connected with the help of rivets, bolts and welding.

Materials and components, used for producing PKU stations, satisfy all standards and technical conditions.

All the ferrous metal details have protective coating (galvanic or lacquer).

Using of PKU stations, produced by Nevsky zavod “Electroshchit”, will let you:

-provide accounting of active and reactive power in forward and reverse direction at the 6 (10) kV side;

-prevent the illegal consumption of power;

-reduce expenses for servicing large quantity of power meters at the 0.4 kV side.
