Complete switchgears KRU-6 (10) kV

KRU “Rial” has been designed to receive and distribute electric power of three-phase alternating current with the frequency of 50 Hz at the voltage up to 12 kV in the systems with insulated or grounded neutral.

KRU “Rial” chambers are used on thermal, nuclear, gas-turbine power plants, on system transformer substances, for transport electrification and other objects of power supply. Modular design is the ideal solution for updating and extension of the existent substations, for replacement of outdated switchgears. Connection is provided through transitional cabinets of KRU.

KRU can be of  tropical and quakeproof executions and they are successfully operated in different climate conditions.

Design features

The body of KRU “Rial” chamber of “armoured” type is a grounded metal casing, that is made of zinc-coated steel sheets and correspond to IEC standard 298. The body is separated with metal partitions, that exclude the arc penetration into bays.
