One-ended with automatic standby activation outdoor substations with two transformers, PKTPVR type
Function, field of application.
Substations are designed to receive, convert and distribute electric power of three-phase alternating current with the frequency 50 Hz in systems of power supply of oil and gas industry, building areas and other facilities.
Cabinet of automatic standby activation serves for sectioning of two bushings at the LV side and providing no-break power supply in case when one of the substations is cut-off.
Construction
Substation consists of following structural components:
1) HV switchgear cabinet;
2) LV switchgear cabinet in different executions (depending on customer’s request);
3) Transformer’s chamber.
HV and LV switchgear cabinets are placed on metal framework. HV switchgear cabinet has external door locked on padlock and electromagnetic lock.
Inside HV switchgear cabinet following equipment is installed:
- Gas-blast load-break switch of VNP-M/630-20z U2 type with grounding blades, safety fuses, device to issue switch-off command in case of fuse failing;
LV switchgear cabinet has double-leaf gates and they are locked on trick locks, different from locks of HV switchgear and transformer’s chamber.
Inside LV switchgear cabinet following equipment is installed:
- instrument unit;
- automatic switch for buses of 0.4 kV protection (incoming switch);
- automatic feeder switches;
- three-phase load of rated current 63 A connector;
- one-phase load of rated current 40 A connector;
- socket for portable light lamp switching, voltage of 36 V.
Incoming switch has electromagnetic or manual drive, shunt release and release in overload and short circuit current zone.
Automatic feeder switches has release in overload and short circuit current zone.
Note: connectors are installed depending on customer’s request.
Power transformer is detached from HV and LV switchgear cabinets by metal partitions. Power transformer chamber has double-leaf gates on two sides.
Automatic standby activation cabinet with two-sided maintenance ability is welded construction made of flat-pattern joist web with safety switching devices, switchgears and protection devices installed iside. Cabinet has external metal gates and each of them is locked on padlock and two trick crossbar locks, different from locks of HV switchgear and transformer’s chamber.
The cabinet consists of two panels:
1) panel with automatic standby activation equipment of SchO-70-1-90 U3 type;
2) panel of sectionalizing switch of SchO-70-1-72 U3 type;
Sectionalizing panel contains the stationary automatic circuit breaker of VA type. Maintenance disconnectors are installed on both sides of circuit breaker. When the circuit breaker is switched on (switched off) signal lamps light up: the red lamp when “switched on” and the green one when “switched off”.
